Nature Journaling for 2nd-4th Graders

The start date of this series is now Oct 9th, a Friday.

This is a class series held Friday evenings.
Dates: October 9, 16, 23 & November 13, 20 (no class 10/30 & 11/6)
Time: 4:00-5:00 PM

Fee: Per Class: $7 Friends, $10 Others;
Session Fee (includes all 6 classes): $30 Friends, $40 Others

Age: 2nd – 4th graders

Inspire your child’s inner creative writer! Come explore the gardens at Van Vleck and learn how to create a nature journal. Children will draw and write in their own journal (journals and supplies included in registration fee). Read more


Garden Exploration Saturdays for Families

Come to Van Vleck and visit our Education Center anytime between 10 am to 1:00 pm. An environmental educator will discuss various topics relating to nature in and around the gardens. A simple craft will be offered, as well as supplies for a self-guided activity on the property. Everything you need to enjoy quality time with your family is here. Activities are designed for children ages 4 and up; however, all are welcome. All children must be supervised by an adult. Rain or shine.
