Tree Planting Series
Virtual Class
Part 1: Saturday, February 13th
Part 2: Saturday, February 20th
Part 3: Saturday, February 27th
10:00 – 11:00 am
Want to insure your tree’s well-being and ultimate success? Here’s what you need to know before you plant. Let’s explore a common cause of tree problems: ourselves! … and learn to avoid common errors made by those of us who purchase, install and care for trees in the landscape. Making good decisions
early in the process lets us enjoy enhanced beauty, better survival, and lower maintenance costs.
Instructor: Laura Roberts is an ISA Certified Arborist and a NJ Certified Tree Expert.
Part 1: Plan… deciding what to plant
The most important (and most forgotten) step! Some careful thought now will make sure both you and
your tree are happy for years to come.
Part 2: Purchase… choosing a specimen
Learn to purchase for long term health and beauty.
Part 3: Planting and ongoing care… digging the hole and beyond
Give your tree the best possible welcome to its new home.
We recommend that you attend all classes in the series.
